Role:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a critical role in delivering high-quality nursing care within an residential treatment facility, ensuring the health and well-being of residents. This position involves comprehensive patient care, including pain control, and to support both acute and chronic health conditions. The LPN will provide patient education to empower residents and their families with knowledge about health maintenance and treatment plans. Effective communication in English is essential to accurately document patient information and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams. Ultimately, the LPN contributes to creating a safe, compassionate, and supportive environment that promotes optimal patient outcomes and quality of life.
Minimum Qualifications:
Current and Ohio LPN license. Behavioral health, substance use disorder treatment, residential treatment or related healthcare experience preferred. Current CPR/First Aid certification Strong clinical judgement, communication, organizational, and documentation skills. Ability to work independently and effectively during overnight hours. Successful completion of required pre-employment screenings.
Responsibilities:
Provide nursing care, administer medications and treatments, and monitor clients for changes in physical, behavioral, or mental health status. Respond appropriately to medical concerns, behavioral health needs and emergencies. Complete accurate and timely nursing and medication documentation in the electronic health record. Collaborate with members of the treatment to maintain safe and supportive environment. Complete all assigned nursing and shift responsibilities before the end of the scheduled shift. Perform other duties as assigned. 11 pm to 7 am Weekends & Holidays Required
