Job Description

Step into an essential role supporting students as a contract LPN/LVN in a dynamic educational setting near Freedom, PA. These full-time positions offer the opportunity to make a lasting impact throughout the next three school years, starting at the beginning of the new academic calendar and extending through the end of the 2026-2027 school year. Multiple nurses are needed to provide vital 1:1 student care, assist with bus riding, and ensure safety and health within the school community.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Current LPN or LVN license for Pennsylvania Experience or strong interest in working with school-aged children Ability to provide compassionate, individualized care to students, including those with health or mobility challenges Excellent communication skills for collaboration with students, families, and school staff Flexibility to adapt to a variety of school health scenarios, including 1:1 assignments and bus riding
Essential Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to assigned students, both in and out of the classroom Support students on bus rides as needed, ensuring their safety and health needs are met during transportation Collaborate with school staff to address routine healthcare needs, administer medication, and respond to emergencies Maintain accurate health records and participate actively in school nurse duties and meetings Foster a nurturing and supportive environment for students, while upholding all school district health policies If you are committed to making a difference for children and thrive in a school setting, this is an excellent opportunity to build relationships and see the results of your care over an extended assignment.
