Private Duty LPN — Adult High-Acuity Home Care Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM-5:00 PM | $30-$35 per hour Use your clinical skills where they make a personal difference. Atlantic Homecare Services is seeking a confident, compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide dedicated one-on-one care for an adult patient in their home. This position offers the chance to build a trusted relationship with the patient and family while delivering skilled, high-acuity care in a supportive setting. Your schedule Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-5:00 PM Consistent weekday hours About the patient's care Tracheostomy and ventilator care G-tube feedings and care Seizure monitoring and management Total care, including ADL and incontinence support Care for a nonverbal adult patient Hoyer-lift transfers and mobility assistance What you'll do Provide skilled, attentive one-on-one nursing care in accordance with the individualized care plan Perform tracheostomy care, ventilator monitoring, G-tube feedings, and prescribed treatments Administer medications and monitor respiratory status, vital signs, seizure activity, and overall condition Assist with personal hygiene, incontinence care, transfers, mobility, and daily-living needs Safely use a Hoyer lift for patient transfers Recognize and respond appropriately to changes in condition or emergencies Maintain clear, timely clinical documentation Partner with the family, Director of Nursing, and care team to deliver exceptional, patient-centered care What you'll bring Active Virginia LPN license or active multistate compact LPN license in good standing At least one year of licensed nursing experience Hands-on experience with tracheostomy care, ventilators, and G-tubes Current CPR certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross Negative TB/PPD screening or chest X-ray completed within the past year Ability to meet background-screening requirements Private-duty nursing experience preferred; pediatric experience is a plus A dependable, calm, compassionate approach to care Benefits and perks $30-$35 per hour , based on experience Medical, dental, vision, and paid time off for eligible employees Referral program Ongoing clinical education and training Direct deposit beginning with your first paycheck 24/7 on-call support Apply today to bring your skills, compassion, and clinical judgment to a role where you can truly make a difference.
