Job Description

Mindful Motion Advanced Massage Therapy is a boutique clinical massage practice in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. Our approach combines evidence-informed therapeutic bodywork with holistic care, allowing us to customize each session to the individual. We specialize in advanced modalities and techniques. We are currently looking to add one outstanding Licensed Massage Therapist to our growing team. This opportunity is ideal for a dependable therapist who enjoys variety, values teamwork, and is willing to help cover shifts when other therapists are unavailable. Initially, your schedule will consist primarily of coverage opportunities and same-day appointments as needed. As you become established with our team and client demand continues to grow, the position is expected to gradually develop into a consistent part-time schedule of approximately 3-4 days per week. Availability Requirements We are seeking a therapist with flexible availability who can accommodate same-day appointment requests.
Required availability includes:
Rotating weekends Weekdays between 2:00 PM - 8:00 PM Who We're Looking For We're interested in someone searching for a long-term professional home rather than simply another job. The right candidate is highly dependable, punctual, and genuinely invested in providing exceptional client care. You should be comfortable communicating with clients about their treatment goals, chronic pain patterns, and basic anatomy while maintaining a high level of professionalism. We value therapists who work well as part of a team, take initiative, and consistently contribute to a positive studio culture. Modalities offered : Deep Tissue Massage Neuromuscular Therapy Myofascial Release Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) Barefoot Ashiatsu Craniosacral Therapy Cupping Therapy Reiki Additional clinical or specialty modalities Position Information Part-time, 1099 Independent Contractor Starting base pay: $40-$75 per session (based on interview and demonstrated skill; tips are not included in the base rate) Keep 100% of your tips Weekly direct deposit every Monday Flexible scheduling Rotating weekends required Participation in an on-call rotation for same-day appointments (you choose your preferred notice window, such as 2-3 hours) Performance-based pay increases throughout your time with us Professional development opportunities Responsibilities Deliver exceptional therapeutic massage sessions. Maintain accurate SOAP notes and client documentation. Manage your schedule and assist with client rebooking. Communicate professionally with both clients and fellow team members. Attend scheduled team meetings (virtual and in person). Equipment Therapists provide their own oils, creams, massage tools, and linens. Studio linen service is available for $3 per set if preferred.

Hot stones Cupping equipment IASTM tools Crystal singing bowls Essential oils Qualifications Applicants must have: Current Florida Massage Therapy License Active professional liability insurance Ability to comfortably perform 3-5 massage sessions (60-, 90-, or 120-minute appointments) in a workday Strong communication and client education skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Professional demeanor with sound clinical judgment Ability to work with a wide range of client populations Availability for occasional team meetings and studio events If you're passionate about clinical massage therapy, committed to continued growth, and looking for a supportive practice where your skills are valued, we'd love to hear from you.
