Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and skilled Massage Therapist to join our dynamic wellness team. In this role, you will provide exceptional massage services designed to promote relaxation, alleviate pain, and enhance overall well-being for our diverse clientele. Your expertise in various massage techniques and thorough understanding of human physiology will help deliver personalized treatment plans that meet each patient's unique needs. Join us in creating a calming environment where clients feel cared for, rejuvenated, and empowered on their health journeys. you must have at least 2 years massage experience. Duties Perform a variety of massage therapies including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical massage to address individual client concerns. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments by evaluating physical condition, identifying areas of tension or pain, and developing tailored treatment plans. Utilize your knowledge of anatomy and physiology to ensure safe and effective therapy sessions while educating clients on post-treatment care. Maintain clear and compassionate communication with clients to understand their needs, explain procedures, and gather feedback for continuous improvement. Keep detailed records of treatments provided, client progress, and any relevant medical information in compliance with health regulations. Adhere to all safety protocols including CPR certification and proper sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff. Collaborate with other health professionals or medical personnel when necessary to support comprehensive patient care. Requirements Proven experience in massage therapy with a focus on patient service and pain management. Certification in massage therapy from an accredited institution; additional certifications in trigger point therapy, prenatal massage, sports massage, or deep tissue massage are highly desirable. Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to accurately assess patient needs and communicate effectively with healthcare providers. Valid CPR certification and commitment to maintaining current licensure as required by local regulations. Excellent client communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor that fosters trust and comfort. Prior experience working in med spas or occupational health settings is preferred but not mandatory.
