Responsibilities Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual needs and develop customized treatment plans. Communicate effectively with clients to explain procedures, gather feedback, and ensure comfort throughout each session. Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, patient progress, and any relevant medical or physiological information. Adhere to all safety protocols including CPR certification and proper sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff. Stay informed about the latest advancements in massage therapy techniques and physiology knowledge to continually enhance your skills. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary to support comprehensive patient care and pain management strategies. Experience Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification in CPR. Must have at least 1 year experience. Proven experience in providing various massage modalities such as Swedish massage, deep tissue therapy, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical or occupational health treatments. Strong understanding of human anatomy and physiology to accurately assess patient needs and deliver effective therapy. Prior experience working in a med spa or clinical setting is highly desirable. Excellent client communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport quickly. Knowledge of medical terminology related to pain management and injury rehabilitation is advantageous.
