Responsibilities Perform professional therapeutic massage treatments tailored to each client's needs. Assess muscle tension, soft tissue, and range of motion to recommend appropriate massage techniques. Help relieve pain, reduce stress, improve circulation, increase relaxation, and promote overall wellness. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary spa treatment room, including laundering linens and preparing treatment areas. Build strong relationships with members and guests by providing an exceptional spa experience. Educate members on massage therapy benefits and recommend appropriate services. Promote spa and wellness services while accurately processing member charges. Follow all state licensing requirements and club health and safety standards. Qualifications Current Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) license through the Maryland Department of Health. Minimum of 3 years of professional massage therapy experience in a spa, wellness center, private club, chiropractic office, or similar professional setting. Knowledge of therapeutic massage techniques and best practices. Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills. Professional appearance, reliability, and a strong commitment to providing an exceptional client experience. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative spa and hospitality team.
