Duties Deliver professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual needs and develop tailored treatment plans that address specific pain points or mobility concerns. Maintain clear communication with clients about their treatment progress, comfort levels, and any necessary adjustments during sessions. Ensure all treatments adhere to safety standards and maintain a clean, relaxing environment for clients. Keep detailed records of client treatments, progress notes, and health history in compliance with medical terminology standards and privacy regulations. Stay current with the latest massage therapy techniques, physiology knowledge, and medical advancements related to pain management and client care. Promote excellent patient service by creating a welcoming atmosphere and fostering strong client relationships that encourage repeat visits. Experience Proven experience as a licensed massage therapist with a strong background in various massage modalities including but not limited to deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments. Knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and pain management. Prior experience working in med spas or similar healthcare settings is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to assess patient needs accurately and communicate effectively with clients about treatment options and outcomes. CPR certification is required to ensure safety during all client interactions. Experience with patient service excellence and customer service skills that foster trust and satisfaction.
