Responsibilities Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and other modalities tailored to client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health concerns and develop customized treatment plans. Communicate effectively with clients to explain procedures, gather feedback, and ensure comfort throughout each session. Maintain detailed documentation of treatments, client progress, and any relevant medical or physiological information in compliance with privacy standards. Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and occupational health. Ensure a safe and hygienic environment by adhering to sanitation protocols and maintaining equipment in excellent condition. Promote client retention through excellent customer service, building trusting relationships, and encouraging ongoing wellness routines. Skills Proven experience in various massage techniques including Swedish massage, deep tissue therapy, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments. Strong knowledge of human physiology and anatomy to accurately assess patient needs and tailor treatments accordingly. Excellent patient communication skills to explain procedures clearly and respond empathetically to client concerns. Ability to identify pain points and develop effective pain management strategies through targeted massage techniques. Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and healthcare settings. CPR certification is required to ensure safety during all sessions.
