Company Overview . SB Health is a comprehensive medical, chiropractic, and physical therapy center dedicated to promoting wellness and healing within the community. Our team is committed to providing personalized care and exceptional service to support our patients' health goals. Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Massage Therapist to join our team on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The hours are 11-730 and massage sessions are 15 minutes long. You are paid by the hour. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for patient care and a strong background in various massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, and prenatal massage. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to patient well-being through professional massage therapy in a supportive environment. Duties Provide professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, and prenatal massage. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and develop tailored treatment plans. Educate patients on pain management strategies and recommend appropriate therapies for ongoing wellness. Maintain detailed documentation of treatments and patient progress in compliance with healthcare standards. Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment that adheres to sanitation protocols and occupational health guidelines. Communicate effectively with patients regarding their treatment goals and address any questions or concerns professionally. Stay current with industry best practices by participating in continuing education related to physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and new massage techniques. Experience Proven experience as a Massage Therapist with expertise in Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, and prenatal massage. Knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to therapeutic massage. Prior experience working in med spa settings or healthcare environments is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with diverse patient populations. Certification in CPR is required; additional certifications in occupational health or specialized massage techniques are a plus. Experience with pain management therapies and patient assessment processes will enhance your effectiveness in this role.
