Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual needs and health conditions. Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to tailor massage techniques effectively. Perform various types of massages including deep tissue, trigger point therapy, and other therapeutic modalities. Maintain a clean and organized treatment area to ensure a safe environment for clients. Document treatment plans and client progress accurately in accordance with clinic policies. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in the med spa environment to provide comprehensive care. Educate clients on self-care techniques and the benefits of regular massage therapy. Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and best practices in pain management and occupational health. Qualifications Proven knowledge of physiology and anatomy relevant to massage therapy. Familiarity with medical terminology is preferred. Strong patient service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. Experience in trigger point therapy and deep tissue massage is highly desirable. Background in pain management or occupational health is a plus. Must possess a valid massage therapy license as required by state regulations. Excellent communication skills and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
