In this role, you will deliver customized massage treatments that alleviate pain, reduce stress, and enhance overall well-being. Responsibilities Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments tailored to individual client needs Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their health history, current complaints, and treatment goals Communicate effectively with clients to explain procedures, gather feedback, and ensure comfort throughout each session Maintain detailed records of treatments provided and client progress in compliance with health regulations Stay updated on the latest massage therapy techniques and industry best practices to continually enhance service quality Adhere to all safety protocols including CPR certification and proper sanitation standards to ensure client safety and hygiene Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary to support comprehensive patient care and pain management strategies Experience Proven experience in massage therapy with a strong understanding of physiology and anatomy knowledge Familiarity with medical terminology related to musculoskeletal health and pain management Prior work in med spa environments or occupational health settings is highly desirable Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients and assess their needs accurately Certification in CPR is required; additional certifications such as prenatal massage or sports massage are a plus Experience with customer service and patient care that emphasizes compassionate client communication and personalized treatment plans We are dedicated to fostering a vibrant work environment where your skills contribute directly to improving clients' quality of life.
