Duties Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing various techniques. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual needs and develop customized treatment plans. Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate therapies for ongoing wellness. Maintain detailed records of each session, including client progress and treatment notes, ensuring compliance with health regulations. Ensure a safe and comfortable environment by adhering to sanitation standards and safety protocols. Communicate effectively with clients to explain procedures, address concerns, and foster a welcoming atmosphere. Skills Proven experience in massage therapy with a strong background in Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, and prenatal massage. Excellent patient service skills with the ability to assess client needs accurately and communicate treatment plans clearly. Knowledge of human physiology and anatomy to tailor treatments effectively. Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and wellness practices. Ability to perform patient assessments to identify areas of tension or pain for targeted therapy. Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and professional demeanor. Experience working in med spas or occupational health settings is highly desirable. Ability to manage pain relief strategies effectively while maintaining client comfort throughout sessions.
