Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of anatomy and physiology, enabling them to provide effective therapeutic treatments tailored to individual client needs. This role requires excellent customer service skills and a commitment to promoting overall health and well-being through various massage techniques. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and treatment plans. Perform a variety of massage techniques, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy. Stretch Techniques, Pin and Stretch, ART, etc. Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to address specific pain management issues. Maintain accurate client records, documenting treatment plans and progress. Provide education to clients on the benefits of massage therapy and self-care practices. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in occupational health settings as needed. Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients at all times. Uphold professional standards in accordance with industry regulations and best practices. Requirements Valid state licensure or certification in massage therapy. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology. Experience in trigger point therapy and deep tissue massage preferred. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. Understanding of pain management techniques and occupational health principles is a plus.
