Body Harmony of Arlington is seeking one exceptional Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) to join our established team of chiropractors, acupuncturists, and massage therapists. Our patients come to us because they have pain, injuries, movement limitations, or chronic conditions. They're looking for someone who can assess the problem, think clinically, and provide treatment that creates lasting improvement—not just temporary relaxation. We're replacing a highly respected senior therapist, so we're looking for someone with similar clinical strengths and experience. Who You'll Treat Our massage therapists regularly work with patients experiencing: Chronic neck and shoulder pain Low back pain and sciatica Hip dysfunction Sports injuries Running-related injuries Headaches Pregnancy-related discomfort Mobility restrictions Muscle imbalance Chronic pain Stress-related tension Many patients are also receiving chiropractic or acupuncture care, so collaboration is an important part of our practice. We're Looking For Someone Who Is Confident In Deep Tissue Massage Therapeutic Massage Sports Massage Swedish Massage (as part of a therapeutic treatment plan) Trigger Point Therapy Myofascial techniques Stretching and mobility-focused treatment Assessment of movement and muscular dysfunction Developing treatment plans based on clinical findings Our Ideal Therapist You don't simply ask where it hurts. You assess. You think critically. You educate patients. You modify treatment as you work. You enjoy solving complex muscular problems and helping patients improve over multiple visits. You are comfortable communicating your clinical findings with chiropractors and collaborating on patient care. Required Qualifications Current Virginia Massage Therapy License Strong therapeutic massage skills Experience treating orthopedic, chronic pain, sports, or mobility-related conditions Solid understanding of anatomy, biomechanics, and musculoskeletal conditions Ability to communicate clinical observations clearly with other providers Professional spoken English sufficient to discuss patient findings, treatment plans, anatomy, and recommendations with chiropractors, acupuncturists, and patients Because we practice collaboratively, therapists must be able to comfortably discuss anatomy, clinical findings, and treatment recommendations with both patients and providers. Preferred Experience Experience in any of the following is a plus: Prenatal Massage Manual Lymphatic Drainage Craniosacral Therapy Hot Stone Massage Bamboo Massage Cupping Working in an integrated chiropractic or multidisciplinary clinic Why Body Harmony?
