Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and assisting healthcare professionals in various medical procedures. Duties:
  • Perform vital signs measurements, including blood pressure, pulse rate, temperature, and respiratory rate
  • Assist healthcare professionals with medical procedures and examinations
  • Provide medical administrative support, such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and managing billing and coding
  • Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
  • Prepare patients for X-rays and other diagnostic tests
  • Ensure proper sterilization of medical equipment and instruments
  • Maintain inventory of medical supplies and order replenishments as needed
  • Educate patients on self-care techniques and provide instructions for medication usage
  • Assist with basic life support measures when necessary
  • Provide compassionate patient care and ensure patient comfort throughout their visit
Experience:
  • Proven experience as a Medical Assistant or relevant healthcare role
  • Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of anatomy and physiology
  • Familiarity with coding systems for medical procedures and diagnoses
  • Knowledge of medication administration procedures
  • Basic life support certification preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
