Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity as a school-based Occupational Therapist, supporting students across the Oroville region with the potential to serve the Paradise area as well. This full-time, full school-year contract role runs from August 10 to May 28, 2027, providing a consistent and meaningful impact within educational environments. Designed for those open to travel, this position involves moving between multiple school sites, with mileage reimbursement provided. Ideal candidates are passionate about fostering student growth, adept at collaborating with school staff, and ready to deliver hands-on interventions that help children thrive. In-person presence is essential, as you'll be an integral resource onsite throughout the year.

Key Qualifications:
  • Valid Occupational Therapy license for the state
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric therapy setting preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt intervention strategies for diverse student needs
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Assess student needs and develop tailored therapy plans
  • Deliver direct intervention services and monitor progress
  • Consult with teachers, families, and IEP teams
  • Maintain accurate documentation and participate in student evaluations
  • Travel between school locations as assigned (mileage is reimbursed)

Compensation for this position ranges from $43.86 to $63.86. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
