The ideal candidate is interested in pursuing a career in healthcare or related research fields. They will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office by providing administrative support and assisting with patient care. This position requires strong communication skills and a commitment to patient confidentiality. Candidate should be highly organized and ability to problem solve. Will be the right hand person to the CEO handling various tasks from email inbasket management to research projects. Opportunity for authorship on publications if interested. Duties Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner Schedule appointments and manage the office calendar efficiently. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure HIPPAA compliance Assist with medical billing Handle incoming emails, and correspondence professionally. Coordinate with healthcare providers to facilitate patient care. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the office environment. Utilize electronic health record systems and Google workspace for documentation and data entry. Support clinical staff with administrative tasks as needed. Be able to own mistakes and make adjustments to correct them Some executive assistant work as able and time permits Experience Candidates are not required to have prior experience in a medical setting. Priority is on organization and communication skills. Proficiency in using electronic health record systems is an asset though not required. Ability and interest in learning new skills is a must. A commitment to continuous learning and professional development is critical.
