We're looking for a reliable and experienced Medical Assistant to join our team and support our physician and patients in a warm, professional environment. Responsibilities Room patients and obtain vital signs Assist with procedures and exams Administer injections, perform EKGs, Spirometries, etc Prepare exam rooms and maintain a clean work environment Handle prior authorizations, referrals, and prescription refills Enter data accurately into EHR (experience with Amazing Charts and Office Ally is a plus) Schedule appointments and follow up with patients Maintain HIPAA compliance Billing experience Assist physician and coworkers with other tasks as needed Qualifications 2+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant (internal or family medicine preferred) MA Certification (CMA, RMA, or CCMA) preferred but not required Strong communication and organizational skills Proficient in using electronic medical records Bilingual (Spanish) a plus Professional, reliable, and patient-focused Benefits Competitive pay (based on experience and certifications) Health insurance (stipend) Paid time off Supportive and respectful work environment 401
