Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures
- Take patient vital signs and record medical history
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical instruments
- Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens
- Administer medications and vaccines as directed by healthcare providers
- Schedule patient appointments and manage medical records
- Provide administrative support such as answering phones and handling patient inquiries
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar role preferred
- Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, such as eClinicalWorks or Dentrix
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
