Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures, ensuring comfort, and maintaining a professional demeanor. Support clinical procedures. Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems by entering patient data, updating charts, coding diagnoses with ICD codes, and ensuring accuracy for billing and documentation purposes. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification as a Medical Assistant preferred. Proven experience in clinical settings such as outpatient clinics. Environments, or specialty practices like pain management or orthopedics. Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, ICD coding, and medication administration procedures. Experience working with EHR systems. Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in fast-paced environments.
