About Us HeartWell Medical Group is a growing physician-owned cardiology practice in Winter Park, FL, led by Dr. Raghav Sharma. We provide comprehensive cardiology care — preventive heart health, advanced cardiovascular diagnostics, and vascular cardiology — with a personal, high-touch patient experience. The Role We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant for a role that combines clinical patient care with ownership of key back-office responsibilities. You will support the clinical day — rooming patients, taking vitals, performing 12-lead EKGs, medication reconciliation, and chart preparation — and you will also manage the practice's clinical follow-up operations, including our cardiac device monitoring boards (MCOT and loop recorder follow-up), the medication refill queue, after-hours message triage, and follow-up scheduling. This is a great fit for an MA who enjoys patient care and is equally strong on organization and follow-through — someone who keeps a task list current, tracks what's due, and makes sure nothing slips. Responsibilities

• Room patients, obtain vitals, and prepare charts for provider visits
• Perform 12-lead EKGs and assist with in-office diagnostics
• Maintain the cardiac device monitoring boards and ensure timely patient follow-up
• Manage the medication refill queue and triage after-hours messages
• Coordinate follow-up appointments and outstanding orders
• Support room turnover, supply inventory, and clinical documentation in the EMR Qualifications
• Current MA certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
• At least 1 year of clinical MA experience in a physician practice
• EMR fluency — eClinicalWorks strongly preferred
• Bilingual English/Spanish
• Strong organizational skills and reliable follow-through
• Dependable attendance and professionalism in a busy specialty practice Preferred
• Cardiology experience, especially device clinics or ambulatory monitoring
• EKG proficiency
• Experience managing a follow-up queue or task board
• Phlebotomy Compensation & Schedule $17
• 20/hour based on experience.

Health, vision, and dental insurance; paid time off; paid holidays. Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM, in-office.
