Job Description

West Vinings Pediatrics is looking for our next great team members!! We are a small but growing private practice in a great location near I-285 in Smyrna, Georgia. We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant with a passion for working with children. At least 2 years of Pediatric experience is preferred. Our ideal candidate will be warm, compassionate, and dependable. Candidate must have a strong drive to deliver high quality care, good problem-solving skills, and above average communication skills. Flexibility and adaptability are essential for this position.
Responsibilities include:
Room patients and obtain accurate vital signs, medical histories, and medication lists. Prepare patients for examination and assist physicians during office visits and procedures. Administer immunizations, medications, and perform point-of-care testing as directed. Phlebotomy Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR). Provide patient and family education as instructed by the physician. Clean, stock, and prepare exam rooms and maintain clinical supplies. Process laboratory specimens and coordinate referrals as needed. Communicate professionally with patients, families, and team members while maintaining HIPAA compliance. Assist with other clinical and administrative duties to support efficient office operations.
Qualifications:
Medical Assistant certification Two years Pediatric experience preferred Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills. Friendly, positive attitude with a genuine love for working with children. Reliable, punctual, and committed to providing outstanding customer service.
