Job Description

We are recruiting for an experienced back office team member for a specialty practice in Athens/Watkinsville, GA, preferably residing in or near the area. The new Team Member is responsible for working in a medical clinic for foot and ankle services assisting the Physician. We are looking for someone who can communicate with patients and co-workers in a professional yet friendly manner, and can thrive in a fast-paced environment! Ideal candidates will possess the following qualities: Passion for helping patients A positive attitude Excellent customer service skills Strong written and oral communication skills A strong work ethic Ability to work well within a team and independently Responsibilities for back office include: Assisting the doctor with patients, patient vitals, patient charts, and helping with DME supplies. We are looking for someone who is computer savvy, can multi-task, ability to learn and follow policies and procedures, and provide 5-star service to our patients.
Preferred experience:
Background in reflexology, laser therapy, and/or nail technician (Certification required: Georgia cosmetology / Nail Technician License) Ability to assist the Physician / Medical Assistant with patients and office flow between clients Ability to interact directly with patients Knowledge of specialty (or specialties) as appropriate Excellent Prioritization and Time Management skills Excellent Collaboration and Teamwork skills Ability to work under pressure with time constraints. Ability to concentrate and work independently Excellent listening skills. Ability to understand and apply relevant legal concepts (e.g., confidentiality).
