Northwest Integrated Health is growing, and we're looking for a reliable, motivated, and patient-focused Medical Assistant to join our team. We are currently expanding into a brand-new, significantly larger facility designed to accommodate our growing patient base and expanding services. Our practice provides personalized healthcare focused on hormone replacement therapy, thyroid health, peptide therapy, medical weight loss, migraine management, IV therapy, chiropractic care, massage therapy, and medical aesthetics. The Medical Assistant will play an important role in supporting our providers and ensuring patients receive organized, efficient, and compassionate care from the moment they arrive. Medical Assistant Responsibilities Room patients and obtain vital signs, medical histories, medication updates, and chief complaints. Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws accurately and professionally while prioritizing patient comfort. Prepare patient charts and complete thorough chart preparation prior to appointments. Assist providers with examinations, treatments, and in-office procedures. Assist with BioTE pellet procedures, including room setup, patient preparation, provider assistance, and room turnover. Administer vitamin injections according to provider orders and clinic protocols. Prepare and administer vitamin IV therapies according to provider orders and clinic protocols. Process prescription refill requests and communicate with pharmacies as directed by providers. Conduct patient follow-up calls and communications regarding treatment plans, laboratory results, medications, and provider recommendations. Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked treatment rooms. Sterilize and maintain medical instruments and pellet procedure supplies. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR. Assist with patient flow and help keep the clinic running efficiently throughout the day. Monitor medical supply inventory and communicate restocking needs to management. Support providers and other team members with additional clinical and operational needs as they arise. What We're Looking For Previous experience as a Medical Assistant. At least 1 year of experience in a medical office, wellness practice, specialty clinic, or similar healthcare setting preferred. Venipuncture and specimen processing experience preferred. Experience administering injections required. IV therapy experience preferred. Medical Assistant certification preferred. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment. Professional, confident, and compassionate communication skills. Ability to work independently while also being a dependable member of a team. Willingness to learn new services, procedures, and systems.
