Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified or Registered Medical Assistant to join our Family Medicine care team. Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures. Perform intake assessments, including taking vital signs and documenting patient histories. Administer medications as directed by physicians and monitor patients for adverse reactions. Conduct basic life support (BLS) as needed and respond to emergencies in a timely manner. Provide medical administrative support, including managing patient flow and reviewing charts for past records. Perform lab draws and administer vaccines Maintain cleanliness and organization of clinical areas to ensure compliance with health regulations. Qualifications Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program. Experience in a healthcare setting required. Knowledge of medical terminology and basic anatomy/physiology is essential. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems for efficient documentation. Strong communication skills with an emphasis on patient care and comfort.
