Duties Assist with patient intake, including collecting medical histories and recording vital signs accurately. Prepare patients for examinations or procedures by explaining processes and ensuring comfort. Support physicians and nurse practioners with clinical tasks. Manage electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently by documenting patient information, including demographics, insurance information, and personal health information. Conduct basic physiology assessments to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning. Provide exceptional patient service by answering questions, coordinating appointments, and facilitating smooth patient flow. Requirements Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program; current certification is preferred. Non-certified individuals will be considered based on experience. Prior experience working in cardiology or similar medicine settings is highly preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and medications. Experience with EHR systems and medical administrative support functions such as scheduling and documentation. Experience with eClinicalWorks is preferred. Ability to perform clinical skills including vital signs collection, and basic life support certification (BLS). Excellent communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient care in outpatient or inpatient environments. Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure in fast-paced settings.

Pay:

$20.00 - $24.00 per hour
