Job Description
We are looking for a passionate, detail-oriented, and skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join a fast-paced dermatology practice. Candidates must possess a thorough knowledge of the skin, familiarity with dermatology conditions and medications, possess excellent cleanliness and sanitation skills, and be willing to train in the company's specific offerings for medical and cosmetic treatments. Prefer a Dermatology background however, will train a skilled Medical Assistant in a different field of Medicine. Candidates must be able to travel to our Itasca AND Naperville offices.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Job responsibilities are, but are not limited to the following: Assist in obtaining patient history, chief complaint, and vital signs as necessary and completing all charting to the provider's preference Set up rooms as needed for in-office procedures and assist provider with office procedures as needed Collect and process specimens accurately and timely Answer and direct all phone calls and messages appropriately Knowledgeably relay treatment plans, pre-and post-procedure care, and prescription instructions to patients Effectively communicates and works well with other team membersQUALIFICATIONS
- Medical Assistant certification
- Dermatology experience is preferred, but not required
- Excellent communication skills
- Availability to work at other office locations when/where needed for coverage or training purposes.
- Energetic, creative, passionate, personable, and knowledgeable regarding the dermatology industry
