Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, including taking vital signs, collecting patient history
• Administer injections and assist with minor procedures

• EKG, POCT

  testing like Rapid strep/Flu/Covid/Urinalysis
• Refilling medications/Returning patient calls
• Perform medical administrative support tasks such as scheduling appointments, returning patient calls managing patient records, and coding for billing purposes
• Medical Records
• Referrals/Faxes
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment You will be cross trained to work both as a CMA and Receptionist.

Experience:

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification
• Proficient in medical terminology and knowledge of human physiology
• Experience in family practice (at least 2 years)
• Experience as medical receptionist

Skills:

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording patient information
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
