Dermatology Specialists of Illinois is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to provide exceptional care to our patients. Key Responsibilities:
Assist dermatologists and physician assistants with clinical procedures and patient care Prepare patients for examinations and treatments Record patient medical histories, medications and vital signs Manage and maintain patient records and documentation Assist in skin biopsies, removals and surgical procedures Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians Educate patients on treatment plans and skincare routines Ensure a clean and organized work environment Coordinate with other staff to optimize patient flow and office efficiency
Qualifications:
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred, but not required - willing to train and certify the right person Previous experience in dermatology or a similar medical field is a plus Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor Compassionate and patient-focused attitude
