We are looking for a Certified Medical Assistant who is passionate about working with children. The desired candidate will have strong communication skills and love interacting with children and families. We are seeking someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, and a team player. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. The position is for a full-time (34+ hrs/week) must be a Certified Medical Assistant . This position requires working one weeknight until 7pm and some Saturdays and/or Sundays for walk-in sick call from 8am-10am. This position is for our Newburyport office but will require support to Rowley and Haverhill as needed. We would prefer someone with experience in a pediatric practice, but willing to train the right candidate. Candidates must be vaccinated for

Requirements:

Medical Assistants must hold an active Certification -

CCMA Responsibilities:

Greet patient and family/caregiver Review and update patient information in the EMR Take vitals and perform required in-office testing Accurately document vitals and results in the EMR Administer immunizations as directed by the provider Communicate with MDs and CPNPs in regard to patient's needs Contribute to the team environment Take initiative to support coworkers and providers Direct patient care only - no administrative tasks such as making phone calls, doing referrals/prior authorizations, or prescription refills.
