Job Summary Busy, privately owned medical practice in West Bloomfield is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our growing healthcare team. The ideal candidate is a dependable, compassionate, and detail-oriented professional with strong clinical skills and a commitment to providing excellent patient care. The Medical Assistant will work closely with physicians and clinical staff to support daily patient care operations in a fast-paced outpatient medical office environment. Medical Assistant Responsibilities Welcome and prepare patients for examinations Obtain and document patient vital signs, medical history, and clinical information Room patients and assist providers with patient flow Administer injections and medications as directed by providers Assist physicians with in-office procedures and examinations Perform in-office diagnostic testing and clinical procedures Provide patients with instructions regarding treatments, medications, and follow-up care Communicate laboratory results to patients as directed by providers Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR/EHR) Prepare and maintain exam rooms, supplies, and clinical equipment Assist with other clinical duties as assigned by providers or the practice manager Required Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of recent Medical Assistant experience in a physician office or outpatient healthcare setting Strong knowledge of clinical workflows and patient care procedures Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and accuracy with documentation Professional, dependable, and team-oriented attitude Excellent references required Experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW) is a plus Schedule Full-time position Some evening hours required No weekends No holidays No on-call responsibilities Benefits & Compensation Competitive hourly wage based on experience Benefits package available for qualified candidates Opportunity to work in a professional, supportive, patient-focused medical practice Why Join Our Team?
