Job Description

Summary of Duties (
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.): Responsible for maintaining exam rooms and nurse stations by stocking supplies, cleaning rooms and instruments, and managing regular and biohazard trash. Prepares materials such as consents, ACOG pamphlets, New OB packets, and prints required orders. Handles specimen bagging and delivery to the lab, enters lab results, and delivers charts to nurses. Assists with patient care by placing patients on NST, supporting procedures, arranging referral appointments and follow-ups, and ensuring timely ordering of supplies. High school diploma/GED preferred. Completion of a Medical Assistant Program preferred. Prefer one year of experience in a specialty field and preferably in a medical office setting. Knowledge of medical terminology desirable. Word processing and computer experience. Current Medical Assistant certification preferred. Current CPR certification required.
