Work without immediate supervision when performing professional duties associated with the preparation, performance and completion of examination and/or preparations of surgical pathology specimens. Experience Required Assist Pathologist in surgical pathology, frozen sections and autopsies. Work without immediate supervision when performing professional duties associated with the preparation, performance and completion of examination and/or preparations of surgical pathology specimens. Education Requirements Associate degree in laboratory science or medical laboratory technology from a NAACLS accredited institution. Baccalaureate degree in biology (or biological sciences) preferred. Completion of a NAACLS accredited pathologists' asst. program preferred. License/Certification Requirements American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or eligible preferred. Special Requirements 3p-1130p Salary Min ($) USD $41.00 Salary Max ($) USD $70.00
