  • Part-time, Full-time Position Summary As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will play an essential role in delivering quality patient care while supporting our providers with clinical and administrative duties.
The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and able to multitask while maintaining a positive attitude toward patients and coworkers. Responsibilities Greet and room patients in a timely and professional manner. Obtain and document patient medical histories, medications, allergies, and chief complaints. Measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and oxygen saturation. Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during medical procedures. Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, specimen collection, and point-of-care laboratory testing. Assist with X-rays (experience preferred but willing to train the right candidate). Administer medications and vaccinations as directed by the provider. Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR). Clean, stock, and prepare examination rooms and medical equipment. Follow infection control and OSHA guidelines. Deliver exceptional customer service while ensuring a positive patient experience. Assist with additional clinical and administrative duties as needed. Qualifications Current Medical Assistant Certification required. Current CPR/BLS Certification required. Previous experience in an urgent care, primary care, family practice, or emergency medicine setting preferred. Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures. Experience with EMR systems. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Dependable, team-oriented, and patient-focused.
