Company Information New Jersey Digestive Disease Associates is a gastroenterology practice with offices in Metuchen and Florham Park, New Jersey. We offer competitive salaries and flexible scheduling options, including full-time positions at both offices or part-time positions at a single location. Job Overview We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Medical Assistants to support our practice through a combination of clinical and administrative duties. Candidates must be personable and adaptable, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment. Key Responsibilities Assist physicians with medical procedures and patient examinations. Communicate with patients and insurance companies as needed. Clean and prepare procedure devices, rooms, and examination areas. Maintain and update electronic medical records (EMRs); transition paper records to digital. Record vital signs, weight, and changes in medical history before appointments. Perform front-office tasks such as answering calls, greeting patients, and scheduling. Manage medical inventory and reorder supplies as necessary. Skills & Requirements Prior experience in healthcare practices preferred (on-the-job training provided). High level of professionalism and strong customer service skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Bilingual proficiency in Chinese/English is preferred; additional language skills are a plus. Why Join Us?
