Job Description

As a Medical Assistant you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of this highly functioning medical office. You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner. We are looking for a reliable, long-term and dedicated Medical Assistant. We will offer training to start immediately. Responsibilities Prepare examination rooms and prep for treatments. Engage with patients to obtain medical history and transcribe chief complaints into EMR. Assist provider during surgeries and cosmetic procedures such as botox, filler and laser treatments. Preform redlight treatments. Arrange, document , review biopsies and send to appropriate labs. Clean and stock patient rooms and organize samples/products/stock. Sterilize instruments and dispose of contaminated supplies in adherence to OSHA regulations. Skills Some working experience as a medical assistant or medical secretary. Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures. Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work. Social perceptiveness and service oriented. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and planning skills. Proficiency in EMR and patient management software. Reliable and ambitious.
