Job Summary Temporary Medical Assistant - Maternity Leave Coverage Potential for Part-Time Position Following Temporary Assignment We are seeking a dependable, personable Medical Assistant to join our specialty medical practice on a temporary basis while one of our team members is on maternity leave. This position may have the potential to transition into a permanent part-time role at the conclusion of the temporary assignment, depending on practice needs and mutual fit.
Qualifications & Skills:
EPIC EMR
experience required Previous medical office or clinical experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Friendly, professional, and comfortable working directly with patients Detail-oriented and dependable Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a fast-paced medical office Ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare teamResponsibilities:
Prepare exam rooms and ensure they are clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies Room patients and accurately obtain and document patient histories, medications, and vital signs Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the medical record Assist with patient flow and day-to-day clinical needs Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and other staff Collaborate with the healthcare team to help ensure seamless, efficient patient care This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a temporary medical position who may also be interested in continued part-time employment after the maternity leave coverage period.Pay:
