Job Description

WFMC Health is a non-profit medical and behavioral health clinic providing high quality healthcare services to residents of Marion and Polk Counties. We are seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant for our busy practice. The ideal candidate is friendly, outgoing, motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced team environment. Position Summary We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, dependable, adaptable and proactive Administrative Assistant to help support the day-to-day administrative and operational needs of our busy clinic. This position will serve as a key support partner to the administrative team, helping coordinate priorities, track ongoing projects, maintain accurate records, and provide backup coverage for several key administrative functions. The ideal candidate embraces a challenge, enjoys learning new skills and is comfortable managing multiple responsibilities at once. A professional demeanor and an ability to effectively communicate with clinic staff is essential to this position. This is a full-time, in-person position. Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide direct administrative support to the Executive Support Specialist and Operations Manager.
  • Assist with daily tasks, special projects, follow-up items, and other priorities as assigned.
  • Help track and organize multiple data sets, maintain records, prepare documentation, and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Serve as a reliable point of support and help maintain continuity when the Executive Support Specialist and Operations Manager is unavailable.
  • Communicate professionally with employees, leadership, vendors, and external partners.
  • Maintain related proposals, invoices, contracts, and supporting documentation.
  • Communicate with vendors and internal staff to resolve invoice or contract questions.
  • Maintain documentation that allows leadership to easily review current services, expenses, and contractual obligations.
Required Qualifications:
  • Three to five years experience working in a medical clinic business office or equivalent business experience required.
Bachelor's degree in related field is strongly preferred. Excellent writing and communication skills required. Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency required. Must hold a valid driver's license and be able to pass a background check. IT experience and working with EHR systems a plus.

$26.50 - $31.75 per hour
