Overview Role Description The Medical Assistant role at SkinSpire Dermatology + Aesthetics is a full-time, on-site position based in Dresher, PA. The Medical Assistant supports dermatology and aesthetics providers by preparing exam rooms, assisting with procedures, and ensuring patients are comfortable and informed throughout their visit. Daily responsibilities include documenting medical histories, updating electronic medical records, and managing patient flow. The role also involves coordinating appointments, handling basic clinical tasks such as dressing changes and specimen collection, and maintaining clean, well-stocked treatment areas. The Medical Assistant works closely with clinical and front office staff to support efficient operations and high-quality patient care Qualifications Candidates should possess a minimum of two years of medical assistance experience, preferably within dermatology. Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program and relevant certification (e.g., CMA, RMA) required. Candidates should possess knowledge of Medical Terminology relevant to dermatology and aesthetics. Candidates should possess experience in a Medical Office setting, including coordination of appointments and collaboration with clinical staff. Candidates should possess Patient Care skills, with a focus on comfort, safety, and clear communication. Candidates should possess proficiency in handling Medical Records, including accurate documentation in electronic health record systems. Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow clinical protocols are beneficial. Prior experience in dermatology or aesthetics, or strong interest in skin health, is a plus.
