Job Type Full-time Part-time Schedule Monday-Friday Work Location In person - Cookeville/Crossville area Position Summary We are looking for a reliable and patient-focused Medical Assistant to join our growing clinic team. The ideal candidate will assist providers with clinical and administrative duties while helping create a positive experience for patients. Responsibilities Assist providers during patient visits, exams, and procedures Record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature Prepare patients for examinations and treatments Administer medications as directed by the provider Collect and prepare lab specimens for testing Perform basic in-office testing such as urinalysis and blood glucose checks Clean, disinfect, and sterilize medical equipment and instruments Educate patients on provider instructions and follow-up care Schedule appointments and maintain accurate patient records in the EHR system Support daily clinic operations as needed Qualifications Previous Medical Assistant experience preferred Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment Dependable, professional, and team-oriented Additional Information Applicants should be willing to commute to or relocate to the Cookeville/Crossville area before starting employment.
