Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA)Allergy, Asthma & Immunology Center (AAIC) - Dr. Ty Prince, PLLC Allergy, Asthma & Immunology Center (AAIC), an independent physician practice, is seeking a detail-oriented, self-motivated, and energetic Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) to join our clinical team. This position is primarily based in our Mount Juliet office and requires frequent travel to our Cookeville location . We are looking for a team member who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working closely with patients, and is committed to delivering exceptional patient care. Clinical Responsibilities Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Supporting Physicians and Nurse Practitioners in a specialty allergy, asthma, and immunology practice Obtaining and documenting patient medical histories and vital signs Preparing patients for examination and treatment Administering injections and medications Processing prescription refill requests and pharmacy communications Obtaining prior authorizations Educating patients and families regarding testing, treatment plans, and medications Performing allergy skin testing and pulmonary function testing Accurately documenting patient encounters in the electronic health record (eClinicalWorks) Working independently in the allergy shot clinic by preparing and administering allergy injections Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation Assisting with additional clinical duties as assigned Qualifications Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) certification required High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum of one year of clinical experience preferred Previous experience administering injections preferred Experience with electronic health record systems required Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy clinical environment Team player committed to creating a positive workplace culture and providing outstanding patient care Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the workday Benefits Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) 401(k) Retirement Plan Uniform Reimbursement License/Certification Reimbursement Preferred Experience Electronic Health Records (EHR): 1 year
