Hays Primary Care is seeking a dependable and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our growing Internal Medicine practice in Kyle, Texas. This position will begin as part-time, approximately 20-30 hours per week, with the opportunity to transition to full-time based on performance and the needs of the practice. Responsibilities Room patients and obtain vital signs Prepare examination rooms and assist providers during visits Administer injections, perform EKGs, and collect specimens Accurately document patient information in AdvancedMD EHR Coordinate laboratory orders, referrals, and medication refills Maintain clean, stocked, and organized clinical areas Provide professional and compassionate patient service Assist the clinical team with additional duties as needed Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required Certified or Registered Medical Assistant preferred At least one year of clinical experience preferred AdvancedMD experience is a plus Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Dependable, professional, and able to work effectively as part of a team Schedule Part-time Approximately 20-30 hours per week Opportunity to transition to full-time Part-Time Benefits Paid holidays Paid Time Off Paid sick time
