Shift:
8a-6p Tuesday-Friday eCW experience a plus HCSET benefits include PTO and Holidays. Responsible for performing a variety of duties. Responsible for direct patient care and administrative areas including assisting physicians with patient care, referrals, pre-certification, environmental, and organizational tasks. MA is responsible for providing information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from the clinical services. Must be willingly to staff other clinic locations as needed.
Major Job Responsibilities:
Triage and take patient health complaints, vitals, health and medication histories, and room patient Perform veni-puncture, CLIA-waive lab test, vaccinations, assist with minor procedures Clean patient rooms and clinical areas per infection control protocol Complete pre-certifications, referrals and prescription refills for provider review and approval Follow-up on all patients' lab and diagnostic imaging results Update patient charts with all services rendered, medications given and test results Log freezer and refrigerator temperatures for vaccines and other pharmaceuticals daily to ensure their storage regulations are met Fulfills organizational responsibilities as assigned including respecting/promoting patient rights; responding appropriately to emergency codes; sharing problems relating to patients and/or staff with immediate supervisor. If qualified, MA will be required to provide translation for patient and provider Maintain knowledge of State and Federal Grants that can help and benefit our patient Staffing at other HCSET clinics-Required Rotate as patient care assistant Perform other duties as assigned
