Job Description

Looking for a medical assistant to join our team in a fast paced podiatry office. Experience in an outpatient clinic is preferred but not required, willing to train the right person.
Schedule:
Monday to Thursday 8 - 5:30 Duties include: Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining and recording patient history and vital signs in medical record Preparing, cleaning and restocking examination rooms Assist physician with examination, ordering diagnostic tests, labs and prescriptions, drawing medications and setting up for surgical procedures Assist with X-Rays and other diagnostic procedures Removing and applying wound dressings and casts Cleaning and maintaining instruments Maintaining inventory and ordering medical supplies Clean and maintain the examination rooms and medical equipment
Skills:
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy Excellent interpersonal skills for providing patient care and education. Attention to detail for accurately recording patient information. Ability to operate X-ray equipment and assist with diagnostic procedures.

$16.00 - $21.00 per hour
