Support physicians and nurses with anatomy and physiology knowledge to facilitate accurate diagnoses and treatment plans. Conduct ICD coding for diagnoses and procedures to ensure proper documentation for billing and insurance purposes. Prepare patients for examinations or procedures in outpatient clinics, hospital units (such as PICU or Geriatrics), or surgical settings like the OR. Manage medical supplies, maintain sterile environments, and assist with specimen collection in various specialties including dermatology, internal medicine, or trauma centers. Provide exceptional patient service by answering questions, explaining procedures clearly, and ensuring comfort throughout their visit. Support hospital medicine teams with inpatient care tasks at Level I or Level II trauma centers, including intake assessments and vital sign monitoring. Collaborate seamlessly with multidisciplinary teams in urgent care or emergency medicine settings to deliver prompt and effective patient care. Skills Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, ICD coding, and medication administration protocols. Experience working in diverse clinical environments such as outpatient clinics, hospital units (PICU, Geriatrics), or surgical settings (OR). Familiarity with EHR systems for accurate documentation and efficient workflow management. Ability to perform X-ray procedures or assist in emergency medicine situations confidently. Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to diverse populations across geriatrics or internal medicine specialties. Proven hospital experience within Level I or Level II trauma centers is highly desirable.
