QOROS Cardiovascular is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our cardiology team. The Medical Assistant will provide clinical and administrative support to physicians and advanced practice providers while delivering professional, compassionate, patient-centered care. Key Responsibilities Room patients and obtain medical histories, medications, allergies, and vital signs Perform and document EKGs Apply and remove Holter, cardiac event, and ambulatory BP monitors Prepare patients for stress testing, echocardiograms, and other cardiac testing Assist providers with examinations and procedures Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR Provide patient education and assist with follow-up needs Process prescription refill requests and patient communications Maintain clean, safe, and properly stocked clinical areas Follow HIPAA, OSHA, infection prevention, and practice policies Support other clinical team members and assist where needed Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Medical Assistant certification preferred (CMA, RMA, NCMA, or CCMA) 1+ year of Medical Assistant experience preferred Cardiology or specialty practice experience preferred EHR/EMR experience preferred Current BLS certification required or must be obtained within the required timeframe Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment What We're Looking For We are looking for a dependable, team-oriented Medical Assistant who is committed to excellent patient care, clinical accuracy, and a positive patient experience .
