Our facility handles nearly 100 deliveries monthly in a Level 2 nursery, with transfer options to a Level 3 center for high-risk or pre-32-week cases. Responsibilities include managing L&D and postpartum patients, evaluating triage cases, responding to consults, considering transfers, and handling discharge procedures using Epic EMR. Surgical assistance is available at all times. Requirements include an MD from an accredited institution, board certification or eligibility in ObGyn, and a valid Texas medical license.
