Responsibilities:
- Perform administrative and clinical tasks to support healthcare professionals and ensure smooth operations in a medical setting.
- Greet and check-in patients, obtain medical history, and update patient records.
- Assist with patient examinations, including taking vital signs, recording patient information, and preparing examination rooms.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers.
- Perform basic laboratory tests, such as collecting specimens and conducting routine tests.
- Prepare patients for X-rays and assist with X-ray procedures.
- Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments, managing medical records, and processing insurance claims.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
Skills:
- Proficient in patient service and providing quality care to patients.
- Knowledge of medical coding and billing procedures.
- Ability to accurately measure vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse rate, temperature, and respiration rate.
- Strong understanding of human anatomy and physiology.
- Familiarity with hospital protocols and procedures.
- Experience in medical administrative support tasks, such as appointment scheduling and maintaining medical records.
- Competence in medication administration under the supervision of healthcare professionals.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, healthcare providers, and other staff members.
