Duties Perform patient intake, including collecting medical histories and documenting symptoms accurately in electronic health record (EHR) systems Measure vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates with precision and professionalism Assist with medical procedures, including medication administration, wound care, and basic life support (BLS) protocols when necessary Support physicians and healthcare providers during examinations and treatments, including preparing exam rooms and sterilizing equipment Facilitate patient education on treatment plans, medication instructions, and health maintenance strategies across outpatient and inpatient settings Requirements Valid certification as a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) from an accredited program Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, ICD coding (International Classification of Diseases), and medication administration protocols Familiarity with EHR systems for documentation and data management Strong patient service skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations compassionately and professionally Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications related to emergency medicine or trauma centers are advantageous Join us to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives through compassionate care and clinical excellence!
